LifePoint Kids aims to provide a caring environment for our youngest kids.  This age group learns to honor God through play, fun activities, and Bible Stories. This ministry meets during our Sunday Gatherings at 9:30am and 11:00am Our amazing leaders love kids and have a passion to see them fall in love with Jesus.


Babies - 1yr

2-4yrs

As our kids grow in wisdom and stature, LifePoint Kids wants to help them grow in a love and knowledge of God. Our 2-4yr olds learn about God's word through play, fun activities, Bible story videos, and lessons taught by amazing teachers. This ministry meets during our Sunday Gatherings  at 9:30am and 11:00am.


Kinder - 2nd Grade

As our Kids grow into school age we challenge them to dive deeper into God's word through large-group and small-group learning. Our Kids gather in large group for a lesson and fun activities before separating into small groups to dive deeper into the lesson.  This ministry meets during our Sunday Gatherings  at 9:30am and 11:00am.

3rd - 5th Grade

The goal behind our 3rd-5th grade environment is to challenge our pre-teens to apply God's word in their lives, be missional in their schools, and help them make a successful transition into our Student Ministry and Middle School This ministry meets during our Sunday Gatherings at 9:30am and 11:00am.

Safety and Security

All LifePoint Kids Leaders are background checked and trained in how to properly and safely minister to kids of all ages. Each child is checked in electronically before programming begins and is given a name tag code that corresponds to a check out sticker used by parents to pick them up at the end of programming.

Curriculum

LifePoint Kids uses Wonder Ink Curriculum in for all age groups from Babies - 2nd Grade.  This three-year track leads our kids through the entire Bible to help develop a very broad understanding of God’s word while emphasizes  four core truths.
1. I am known by God
2. I am loved by Jesus
3. I am led by the Holy Spirit
4. I am a child of God

Our 3-5th Graders use The Biggest Story Bible Curriculum to walk through the entire Bible every two years.

Meet the Kids Ministry Team

Avery Varnell
- Family Pastor -

Together Avery and  Caitlin, his wife, have been serving in Kids ministry since 2014. Avery and Caitlin joined the LifePoint Family in January of 2018 and welcomed their first son, Ruben, in October of the same year.

Avery has a passion to see parents disciple their kids in the home and loves to partner families to help them raise passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

Haley Marshall

Ashley Ingram
- Curriculum Director -

Haley has been serving in Preschool ministry since she was 12 years old. Haley loves the Preschool age and brings years of experience, expertise, and passion to the team.

Haley is pursuing a degree in Preschool education and has hopes of owning/operating her own daycare one day.
Ashley Ingram has served as a high level volunteer for years in multiple churches. Today is serving our Kids Ministry by compiling, editing, and prepping the curriculum we use every week!

Ashley is continuing her biblical education at her own pace through Bible Project Classroom.
