Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Discipleship at LifePoint Church
Explore the Claims of Christ
In John 1:39 Jesus extends an invitation to His first disciples by saying, "Come and you will see." Jesus' invitation to come and see was an invitation to explore his life, teachings, and the claims He made of Himself. If Jesus started here, we will too. The first step in discipleship at LifePoint is one of exploration. We want to walk with you as you explore the life, teachings, and claims of Jesus Christ. A foundational knowledge of the person, life, and teachings of Jesus serves as the bedrock of the Christian life.
Connect with Christ
and Other Believers
John 3:22 tells us that Jesus “spent time with [his disciples]”. The Greek word translated “spent time with” here is diatribō. It means “getting under the skin of.” Jesus gave His disciples time to get to know Him and took time to invest in them. If Jesus took time to build long and meaningful relationships we should too. We want to help you connect to Jesus Christ through a deep study of his life. We believe that disciples who Walk Like Jesus should be a part of a real community of believers who will "spur one another on to love and good deeds" (Heb. 10:24)
Grow in Your Faith
1 John 2:6 says, "Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked." The goal of discipleship is to be made more like Jesus. Our heart is that everyone who walks through this process would think, speak, act, pray, and worship like Jesus. Dallas Willard put it this way, “Discipleship is the process of becoming who Jesus would be if he were you.”
Multiply Yourself
The Great Commission found in Matthew 28 commands all believers, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" Discipleship is more than a process it's a lifestyle. Fully formed disciples go and make disciples. After you have been walked through this process we expect you to begin walking alongside if other believers as they Explore, Connect, Grow, and Multiply.
