Leading kids to become passionate followers of Jesus

Through age specific programs, we aim to help kids connect to God, grow in faith, and learn to serve others.
LifePoint Kids exists to equip parents with resources and opportunity to lead their kids to become passionate followers of Jesus.

KidsPoint Jr.

KidsPoint Jr. provides a caring environment for our infants, toddlers, and young kids. In KidsPoint Jr., our kids learn to honor God through play, fun activities, and short age-appropriate Bible lessons. This ministry meets during our Sunday Gatherings (8:45, 10, & 11:30am), and our amazing volunteers love kids and have a passion to see them fall in love with Jesus.

KidsPoint

We have an exciting Ministry led by great leaders who have a heart for children. KidsPoint meets during our Sunday Gatherings (8:45, 10, & 11:30am) and is designed to be a fun and engaging environment where all kids will learn great truths from the Bible.

The Point 4/5

The Point provides a fun and age appropriate ministry for our 4th and 5th graders. This Ministry meets on Sunday Nights from 5-6:45pm to allow our 4th and 5th graders to attend Sunday Gatherings with their parents on Sunday mornings.

Safety and Security

All LifePoint Kids Leaders are background checked and trained in how to properly and safely minister to kids of all ages. Each child is checked in electronically before programming begins and is given a name tag code that corresponds to a check out sticker used by parents to pick them up at the end of programming.

Curriculum

LifePoint Kids uses Gospel Project Curriculum in our KidsPoint and KidsPoint Jr. ministries. This three year track leads our kids through the entire Bible to help develop a very broad understanding of God’s word and how all things point to Jesus. The Point uses personally developed lessons to prepare our preteens for what they will encounter in middle school.

Serving with LifePoint Kids

All leaders in any LifePoint Kids Environment are background-checked, trained, and placed on a serving rotation. Each ministry has a different time commitment and serving rotation. If you are interested in serving in LifePoint Kids, please contact our Kids Pastor Avery Varnell - avery@wearelifepoint.com

Child Well Policy

To minimize the chance of spreading illness, children who show signs of sickness will not be accepted into any LifePoint Kids environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24hrs before attending. This is for the health and protection of all children and Leaders. You are encouraged to bring your child back to us as soon as he or she is well.
If an illness is discovered after a child is in the classroom, a Leader will contact you. Upon the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics a child should not be take from the home with any of the following conditions:
  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Chicken Pox
  • Strep Throat
  • Flu
  • Common Cold
